Subject: Provision of Adjustment Bills of Provided Funds and Exact Shortfall for Payment of 44% Remuneration Charges to Field Staff Regarding 7th Population and Housing Census-2023
1. Background
The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) is currently conducting the 7th Population and Housing Census-2023. The census is a massive undertaking that requires the participation of a large number of field staff. The PBS has provided funds to the Deputy Commissioners of each district to cover the costs of hiring and remunerating field staff.
2. Request for Information
The PBS is still awaiting the detailed information required of the admin districts along with Adjustment bills (receipts, vouchers and acquittance rolls) of provided funds during financial year 2021-22 & 2022-23 and exact shortfall for payment of remaining 44% Remuneration Charges of Field staff.
