Inclusion of 25% Conceptual/Analytical Part in Question Papers of SSC & HSSC Examinations in All Subjects from Ist Annual, 2024

Introduction
- This letter is to inform all heads of institutions, schools, and colleges within the jurisdiction of BISE Multan about the inclusion of 25% conceptual/analytical part in the question papers of SSC and HSSC examinations in all subjects from the first annual examination of 2024.
Details
- The decision was made by the Punjab Board of Curriculum and Assessment (PBCC) in July 2023.
- The conceptual/analytical part will assess students’ understanding of the concepts and their ability to apply them to solve problems.
- Model question papers are being updated and will soon be available on the Board’s website for guidance.
Recommendations
- Heads of institutions are requested to get their students prepared for this change and make them aware of it.
